Pittsburgh Pregnancy Resources: The Ultimate Guide for Local Moms

Maternity

If you’re pregnant or newly postpartum in Pittsburgh, you already know the feeling…there’s a lot to figure out, and it’s hard to know who to trust. Which doula actually answers her texts back? Is there a pelvic floor PT near Wexford? Where do North Hills moms go for a coffee meetup that doesn’t feel awkward?

As a Pittsburgh maternity photographer, I talk to expecting and new moms every week, and the same questions come up again and again. So I put together a free, downloadable guide of Pittsburgh pregnancy resources… 50+ local businesses and recommendations organized by category, so you can find what you need without scrolling through fifty Facebook group threads.

Why I Made This

When I had my daughter, I had no idea what I was doing — just like every first-time mom. I remember sitting in the recliner so overwhelmed, needing to find a lactation consultant and having absolutely no idea where to start. I wanted someone to help me figure out sleep, or just to tell me it gets better.

I wanted this Pittsburgh pregnancy resources guide to exist so other moms know they’re not alone…that there are real people they can reach out to. And honestly, it just helps to have everything in one place instead of spending your 3am scroll session on Google, trying to piece it together yourself.

This guide isn’t sponsored or pay-to-play. It’s a list of people and businesses other Pittsburgh moms genuinely love, and ones I wish I’d had when I was sitting in that recliner.
