I offer a modern, fine art, full-service school photography experience for Pittsburgh-area schools that want something more thoughtful than traditional school photos.
Unlike large, corporate photography companies, I intentionally work with a limited number of schools each year. This allows me to provide a more personal, organized, and responsive experience—while still delivering professional, efficient picture days schools can rely on.
From communication and scheduling to picture day and gallery delivery, my process is designed to be smooth for administrators and enjoyable for families.
A More Natural Approach to School Portraits
My goal is simple: to capture children as they truly are.
I don’t force smiles or rely on stiff poses. Instead, I create a light, relaxed environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. This approach results in genuine, timeless portraits—far from the overly posed, brightly lit school photos many families are used to.
The images are clean, modern, and natural, with a focus on the child rather than distracting backgrounds or gimmicks.
My aim is to give schools a dependable partner and families portraits that feel personal, elevated, and worthy of displaying in their home.
From planning to picture day, I guide you every step of the way.
What Services do you offer?
I provide a complete school photography experience. Including individual student portraits, siblings portraits and class portraits. Each family will receive a private online gallery to order their prints/digitals.
How are modern, fine art school portraits different from traditional school photos?
Modern, fine art school portraits are designed to feel more personal and more thoughtful than traditional school photos.
Rather than stiff poses or forced smiles, each child is photographed in a relaxed way that allows their natural expression and personality to come through. The result is a small collection of images that feel genuine, timeless, and true to who they are.
Each family will receive a gallery of 3-5 images, shown in both color and black and white. Families can choose the images they love most—nothing is pre-selected for them.
I offer a curated selection of boutique products, including professional-quality prints, canvas artwork, and digital images for future printing and archiving.
To keep everything clear and organized, families will receive a detailed PDF before picture day outlining what to expect, how ordering works, and how to prepare—so the process feels simple and stress-free.
What Schools Can Expect
Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school within four weeks of picture day.
I provide all equipment and personnel needed, making photo day smooth and well-organized from start to finish.
Schools receive high-resolution digital files for yearbooks, school websites, marketing materials, student IDs, and any other school use.
I handle all parent and family questions related to ordering and products, so there’s minimal follow-up needed from school staff.
Staff and class photos are available and scheduled based on each school’s needs.
Every school is different, and I'm happy to customize services to ensure picture day fits seamlessly into your school’s schedule and expectations.
I work with small daycares, preschools, and homeschool groups, as well as larger schools. Picture days can accommodate anywhere from 20 students up to a few hundred, depending on the school’s needs and schedule.
We’ll work together to plan a timeline that keeps the day running smoothly.
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
No. I offer competitive pricing with a range of options to fit different needs and budgets. There is nothing due up front—families only purchase what they choose after viewing their images. We offer a variety of collections as well as à la carte products, so families can select what works best for them.
Are the images expensive?
I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.

I do!
If the school needs class and/or staff photos we will take them either on photo do or arrange another time to come and take them.
