Whether your family session takes place outdoors, in your home, or in the studio, my goal is for you to feel taken care of from the moment you inquire to the moment you receive your images. We’ll choose the setting that feels most comfortable for your family.
My job is to make this process effortless, calm, and honestly… kind of fun.

01. Book Your Session
You’ll reach out, we’ll choose a date that works for your family, and I’ll send over everything you need to feel confident and prepared. From scheduling to planning, I’ll guide you through the process so nothing feels overwhelming.
02. Get Prepped (Without the Stress)
You’ll receive a simple planning and wardrobe guide, along with support if you’d like help choosing outfits. No overthinking. No pressure. Just guidance that makes getting ready feel easy—especially with kids involved.
03. Relax. I’ve Got You.
Sessions are relaxed, child-led, and lightly guided. I create space for kids to move, play, and be themselves while gently guiding your family so everything feels natural. If someone needs a break, that’s okay—fun always comes first.
04. Remember This Season
You’ll receive a gallery filled with real moments, connection, and personality. Images that reflect who your family is right now and the stage you’re in—exactly as it feels.

That’s completely okay—and very normal. Family sessions are relaxed, child-led, and lightly guided. I create space for kids to move, play, and be themselves, which is often when the best moments happen. There’s no pressure for perfection—some of the most meaningful images come from real, unscripted moments.
What if my child doesn’t cooperate?
You can never be overdressed for family photos. Long, flowy dresses photograph beautifully, and dress pants with a button-down or sweater look great for men. Kids can never be too dressed up either—simple, classic outfits always photograph well.
Neutral and soft tones tend to work best and keep the focus on your connection as a family. Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a simple wardrobe guide, and I’m always happy to help you choose outfits if you’d like extra support.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Family sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or in the studio—whatever feels most comfortable for your family. When you reach out, we’ll talk through your vision and decide together which location fits best. My approach is lifestyle-focused and natural, not overly posed, so each setting is approached in a relaxed way.
Yes, I do travel! Locations within an hour are included. For sessions farther away, a small travel fee may apply. Just let me know what you’re envisioning and we’ll go over the details together.
what location should i choose? and do you travel?
Family sessions typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour. This gives us plenty of time to ease into things, take breaks if needed, and keep the experience fun and relaxed for everyone.
How long does a family session last?
Yes! Pets are absolutely welcome and part of the family. If you’d like to include them, just let me know when you inquire so we can plan accordingly and make the experience smooth and relaxed for everyone.
Can pets be included in our family session?
The best way to begin is by filling out my contact form.
I’ll be in touch within 24 hours, Monday–Friday, with all the details and next steps.
From there, I’ll guide you through everything so the process feels easy and stress-free.
How do I book a session?
To officially secure your session date, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required.
Once those are complete, your spot is reserved on my calendar and we can begin planning your session.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK?
